In 1969, after the eldest son Tadao Nakazato succeeded the name of Tarouemon the 13th. Takashi Nakazato continued to work as a craftsman at his family kiln “Ochawan”. Takashi, who’s craftsmanship exceeded anyone else's, had created his work under the name of Taroemon the 13th. Malcolm Wright, who was working as a craftsman with the Nakazato family, brought back several pieces of Takashi Nakazato to the United States to be part of his personal collection.
