YURI SATO

Yuri Sato was born and raised in the prefecture of Kanagawa, Japan. After graduating from college in Shanghai, China, she returned to Japan to work in jewelry design.

In 2015, she traveled to New York, where she met Manhattan-based jewelry designer Noriaki Niikura. Captivated by Niikura’s creative philosophy, Yuri applied a similar approach to her own techniques. Thus began the art of her signature tableware that's been crafted, in part, from antique cutlery. Her pieces are truly one-of-a-kind, each carefully constructed with unique, delicate ornamentation.
