The White Vessels from Akihiro Nikaido have a strong earthy texture. Memories through the days become stains and are permanently engraved into the piece. It embodies the ancient Japanese idea of cultivating and admiring a vessel as it is used. You can soak it is water to prevent it from coloring to some extent, but I want you to use it without worrying about is. Enjoying the vessel may mean seeing the vessel change over time.
