Hakusan Porcelain’s beginnings date as far back as 1779, during its founding in Hasami, Nagasaki Prefecture. Their works have been well-received throughout Japan ever since, cultivating a reputation for elegant craftsmanship and high-quality finishes.

It was through legendary ceramist Masahiro Mori’s designs, however, that Hakusan Porcelain and Japanese modern tableware entered the world stage. Since 1958, the manufacturers have enjoyed international acclaim, their works admired at every corner of the world.
